Tip a creator

Send a payment with a message. Choose a streamer tip or add funds to a supported trading account.

Send a tip to support a creator during their stream. Add a message to put your question or reaction in chat alongside the payment.

Streamer tips and margin tips

  • Streamer tip: sends the creator's share to their receiving account.
  • Margin tip: sends the creator's share to a supported trading account, adding funds that can support their positions.

A Rescue prompt uses a margin tip for an account with a position under pressure. Adding funds does not guarantee that the position avoids liquidation. Tips do not give you ownership of a trade or a share of its returns.

Send a tip

  1. Sign in, open the creator's channel, and select Tip.
  2. Choose the tip type, enter the amount, and add an optional message.
  3. Select a payment route. You can use your FLIPgo balance or another route offered by the payment window.
  4. Review the creator, amount, payment type, and fees, then approve.

The creator needs a supported receiving account for the selected tip type. If you need to fund your balance, use Add money; the balance guide covers deposits and withdrawals.

What the creator receives

For a tip from your FLIPgo balance, 91% goes to the creator and 9% goes to FLIPgo. A 10 USDC tip sends 9.10 USDC to the creator and 0.90 USDC to FLIPgo. Small amounts can be affected by rounding.

Other payment routes can include network or conversion costs. The approval screen shows the amounts for the route you choose.

Check the result

A tip can appear as pending before verification finishes. Check its status before trying again. Balance-funded tips also appear in Recent activity on Balance.

Subscriptions and vaults

Creator monetisation explains the different ways to support a creator and participate in their community.
